Spending some money

I'm still shuddering when I see my friends on social media celebrating with friends, maskless. All close and up in each others' bubbles, maskless. I'm keeping my mouth shut.

Doing my part for the economy, and removing excuses for going back out into the world. I'm still pretty scared of Covid, considering it is surging right now.

MindBloom scheduled for next weekend, yay!

1. Bought a hard shell roof top tent for my Jeep Gladiator

2. Also bought a bed rack for above tent, made out of industrial aluminum extrusion.

3. The aluminum has hefty channels down the center, and it's plumbed, so I can use my truck rack as an air compressor tank. How frakking cool is that?

4. Also bought a dog ramp sleeve thing for my main man. It was $200, but it would cost almost that to make myself, and would be crap quality.

5. Also bought a set of KikBax mirrors for my Jeep. They seem like a faster option than my over-engineered Carolina Metal Masters.

6. Also bought a synthetic winch line with an integrated soft shackle... Heh. Softly shackled. There's a joke in there...

7. Built myself a 4 tire inflation system that works extremely well, before I saw the rack. Although, I have enough fittings to plumb it underneath the truck. Those lines would be a sort of tank as well.
