Holy shitballs.
My clinician, nor my guide, nor myself, had much hope it'd work, even though they maxxed out my dose.
Dammit, I spent the money, I'm going to give it another shot. Clinician also said to keep the sublingual in my mouth longer..
I did a few squirts of nasal, but not many, since breathing with your mouth full of drugs is fully dependant on your nasal passages, so..... Yeah... Not much, lol.
It all hit pretty suddenly, but I prepped myself better than last time. The binaural music was preturnaturally perfect, especially when coming down.
I don't usually describe my trips, so here goes...
Imagine... You're magically transported, to an obviously different planet, with technology far beyond what we can do, and then tried to describe it, and then make a movie, it'd be Asgard from the Marvel Universe. Yes, many run-on sentences, but it conveys the Mashup.
Did I have any earth shattering revelations? Nah, but I wasn't expecting any. Some ketamine trips are frustrating, some are lame, some are fun, some are interesting, and some just FUCK you in your Damn Brain Hole.
I'm after the latter. One of my first IV trips involved a very logical conversation with myself, Fully dissociated, black infinity background, aka the show "Supernatural".
I quit drinking (completely) for about 9 months after that, with no real effort, because I knew it did not serve me. Nowadays, I drink maybe once a week when I'm keeping up with the infusions. The difference being "I think having a few beers would be fun today"... Vs "Damn, that day was hard, I NEED a drink"
I made a concerted effort not to do the nasal over the last week. Felt the stress increase, day over day, but also felt that I coped better, with less vaping.
So very hopeful. Also found out that the price will go down to $129 per session. Still a lot, but better than the normal $500+$60Lyft+60Lyft.
Sense of taste is slowly coming back too, likely due to less nasal damage. Less desire for pizza, more desire for salad. Yes, I can feel the difference. I love pizza.
I distinctly remember, when I was done journaling about Asgard: "holy shit, man... I get to just roll over and go to sleep now, instead of lyfting home".
Today, I've had 2 beers after a 2 hour long drive 2 fetch to the park with Romeo in 102 degrees, and now into my 2nd glass of cabernet. Feeling good.
Oh, and I bought a new toy. I still remember getting my rc truck crushed by that random car in my apartment complex. My own damn fault, careless child, shaking head...
